(S1S2)2=(S1P)2+(S2P)2
(2ae)2=a2[(1ecosθ)2+(1+ecosθ)2]
2e2=1+e2cos2θ(1)

b2=a2(1e2)e2=12

From equation (1), We have
cosθ=0θ=π2,3π2
So, no of possible such pairs for P,Q is 2
S1P=S2P=a .
So, rectangle S1PS2Q is square having area
(S1P)(S2P)=a2=2 sq.units
