Given,
(a+b)=1
(ab)=7
Squaring the above two equation,we get,
a2+b2+2ab=1 (i)
a2+b22ab=49 (ii)
Adding the two equations, we get
2(a2+b2)=50
=>(a2+b2)=502
=>(a2+b2)=25
