Given,
(a+b)=6
(ab)=4
Squaring the above two equation,we get,
a2+b2+2ab=36 (i)
a2+b22ab=16 (ii)
Adding the two equations, we get
2(a2+b2)=52
=>(a2+b2)=522
=>(a2+b2)=26
