Question

If tan(A+B)=3 and tan(AB)=13;0<A+B90;A>B, find A and B.

Open in App
Solution

tan(A+B)=3,tan(A+B)=tan60o
A+B=60o .... (i)

tan(A+B)=13
tan(AB)=tan30o
AB=30o ....(ii)

From (i) and (ii), we get
B+45=60o
B=15o
A=45o,B=15o
