If due to some injury the chordae tendinae of the tricuspid valve of human heart is partially non-functional, what will be the immediate effect?
Tricuspid valve is found in right arterio - ventricular septum, this prevents the backflow of blood into right atrium. Chordae tendinae is muscles which regulates the movement of tricuspid valves. Any injury to chordae tendinae will effect working of tricuspid valves and and as a result flow of blood into pulmonary artery will be reduced.
