Solution

along with written solution i will upload image of solution tooo... Read it and try to understand carfully.

Let the measure of each edge of the cube be 'x'.

Surface Area= 6x2

Increased measure of edge=

= (150/100 X x) = 3x/2

Increased surface area=

= 6{ (3x/2 )2 }

= 6 X 9x2/4 = 27x2 / 2

Increase in surface area =

=27x2/2 - 6x2 = (27x2- 12x2)/2 = 15x2/2

% increase in surface area =

(increased surface area ÷ usual surface area )×100

= {(15x2/2) / 6x2 X 100 } %

= (15x2/ 12x2 X 100)% = 125 %

Answer=

Percent increase in its surface area is125 %
