Question

If earth is moving at a very rapid speed , hen how aeroplanes and rocket s land successfully?

Solution

The simple answer is that the helicopter landed in the same place because it stayed still. What does "still" mean. It means it didn't move. But hang on, everything is moving. Absolutely everything is moving all the time. Nothing is actually still. The earth is spinning at X km/hr, it orbits the sun at X and in turn the sun orbits the galactic centre at X and the whole galaxy is flying away form all the other galaxies.Movement is relative based on your point of view. If you are standing at an airport and watch a helicopter go up, stay still, and then land back in the same place it didn't really stay still. Rather the helicopter moved at exactly the same speed and direction as you did, thus giving the appearance of staying still.
