When an earthquake occurs in one’s area one should:

• Switch off all the electricity supplies, and should cut-off the main supply.
• Take shelter under a table and stay there till shaking stops.
• Stay away from tall and heavy objects that may fall on you.
• Find a clear spot, away from buildings, trees and over head power lines. Drop
  to the ground.
