fx=2x+xf2x=22x+2xf2x=4x+2x ...1f-x=2-x+-xf-x=-2x+x ...2Now,f2x+f-x+4x=4x+2x-2x+x+4x =6x+3x =32x+x =3fx

Hence, f(2x) + f(–x) + 4x = 3f(x).
