The correct option is C $5$
$f (x) = {2 x}^{2} - x + 1 ∴ f (1) = 2 \times 1^{2} - 1 + 1 = 2 g (x) = x^{3} - 3 x + 1 ∴ g (- 1) = (- 1)^{3} - 3 \times (- 1) + 1 = - 1 + 3 + 1 = 3 ∴ f (1) + g (- 1) = 2 + 3 = 5$
