The correct option is C $2$
Given, $f (x) = a x^{2} + b x + c, f (0) = 1$ and $f (- 1) = 3$
$∴ f (0) = c = 1$ and $f (- 1) = a + c - b = 3$
Substitute $c = 1$ in $a + c - b = 3$ , we get
$a - b = 3 - c$
$= 3 - 1$
$= 2$
