Thus $f(x+y)=\frac{2^{x+y}+2^{-(x+y)}}{2}$

$\Rightarrow f(x+y)=\frac{2^{x+y}+2^{-x-y}}{2}$

And $f(x-y)=\frac{2^{x-y}+2^{-(x-y)}}{2}$

$\Rightarrow f(x-y)=\frac{2^{x-y}+2^{y-x}}{2}$
