Solution

The correct option is C x
f(x)=x+1x1

f(f(x))=f(x)+1f(x)1

=(x+1x1)+1(x+1x1)1

=x+1+x1x1x+1x+1x1

=2xx12x1

=2x2=x

Now, f(f(x))=x, which is an identity function.
