Solution

The correct option is C |α|>2
We have, f(x)=1x1+x
f(f(x))=f(1x1+x)
=11x1+x1+1x1+x=x
Again, f(x)=1x1+x
f(1/x)=11x1+1x
=x1x+1
f(f(1/x))=f(x1x+1)
=1x1x+11+x1x+1
=1/x
Therefore, α=f(f(x))+f(f(1/x))
α=x+1x
|α|=x+1x2
|α|2
