Let the printed price of a toy be Rs. 100
Selling price after 40 % discount = Rs. 60
Further given,
$60\times 60=1.2\times 60\times c$ , where c is the cost price of a toy.
c = Rs. 50
Profit = $60\times 60-50\times 60=600$
Let the new selling price be Rs. s/toy after 10 toys were destroyed in fire. In order to maintain the same amount of profit, we have
$600=50\times s-60\times 50=50\times s-300050\times s=3600s=Rs.72$
Hence, revised discount =$100-72=28\%$
