If four is subtracted from 3 times the square of a number to get 6. Write this in the form of a linear equation.

Let the number be x.
Therefore the square of a number becomes x×x=x2=y
Therefore the linear equation is (3×x2)4=3y4=6
So this becomes a linear equation in one variable.
