If in a triangle ABC, r1=2, r2=3 and r3=6, then a=

Open in App
Solution

We know that
r1=Δsa=2a=sΔ2 ...(i)
r2=Δsb=3b=sΔ3 ...(ii)
r3=Δsc=6c=sΔ6 ...(iii)
Adding equation (i), (ii) and (iii), we get
a+b+c=3sΔ
s=Δ
Now, Area of triangle ABC
Δ=Δ(Δ2)(Δ3)(Δ6)
Δ=Δ26
Now, Δ=6=s
r1=Δsa
2=66a
a=3
