from circuit diagram : Req=52Ω
i=2052+1.5=5 A
Potential difference between X and P,
VXVP=(52)×3=7.5 V ....(i)
VXVQ=52×2=5 V
On solving (i) and (ii) VPVQ=2.5 volt;VQ>VP
Short trick: (VPVQ)=i2(R2R1)=52(23)=2.5
