If the income of each company be Rs x lakh in 2008, then for company A,
$50=\frac{x-E_1}{E_1}\times 100$
$150E_1=100x$ ...(i)
For company B, $30=\frac{x-E_2}{E_2}\times 100$
$\Rightarrow 130E_2=100x$ ...(ii)
Dividing Eqs. (i) by (ii)
$\frac{E_1}{E_2}=\frac{130}{150}=13:15$
