Amount given for carbon =14gm.
molecular weight of C12=12 gm/mole.
Number of moles =1412=76=1.166 moles.
Number of carbon atoms = moles × Avagadro number.
=1.166×6.023×1023
=7.022×1023.
% of occurrence of C12=98% =98.
So, number of C12 atoms =7.02×1023×0.98=6.88×1023.
