Number of playing cards John has =134

Number of playing cards Ron has =105

Total number of playing cards both have =134+105

First aligning both the numbers in Place Value table,



For adding these two numbers we need to add the like terms of both the digits together i.e. digits at ones place will be added together, digits at tens place will be added together and so on..

So,



Therefore, total number of playing cards =239.
