Number Symbol Possible values
Principal quantum numbern 1,2,3,4,....
Azimuthal quantum number l 0,1,2,3,....,(n1)
Magnetic quantum numberml l,...,1,0,1,....,l
Spin quantum number ms +1/2,1/2
In this case l = 2
then ml=2,1,0,+1,+2
so there are 5 orbitals and each orbital contain 2 electrons
