If length, breadth and height of a cuboid are 20cm, 15cm and 10cm respectively, then find :
(a) Area of the base.
(b) Surface area of its vertical faces.
(c) Volume.

l=20cm, b=15cm, h=10cm.
(a) Area of base =lb
=20×15
=300cm2.
(b) Surface area of its vertical faces
=2(lh+bh)
=2(20×10+15×10)
=2×350
=700cm2
(c) Volume =lbh
=20×15×10
=300×10
=3000cm3.
