if light is invisible , why is a laser beam visible?

When there is light, then it is visible or we can say that we ca see the object when light gets reflect from the object and reach to our eyes.
Laser light is the monochromatic light( only single wavelength), so we can see the path of the laser light in the presence of the light also.
