If light while changing its medium does not change frequency then when during the formation of the rainbow the light changes both its frequency and wavelength . How is it possible?

Dear Student,
As the wavelength of all the seven colours are different so the frequency of only individual colours gets changed.On the whole, the white light remains fixed with the same frequency only the individual colours change their wavelength and hence frequency.
