The value of the first term in expression m2+n2+2mn if m=2 and n=3

Terms of an algebraic expression are numbered from left to right. Terms for given expression are numbered in below picture,

The first term of the given algebraic expression m2+n2+2mn is m2.

Putting the value of m=2 in the first term, we will get the value of first term.

The value of the first term =m2=22=2×2=4

As a result, obtained value of the first term is 4.
