If numbers n-2, 4n-1, 5n+2 are in AP, find the values of n and it's next two terms.
GIVEN ANSWER: n=1 and AP = -1, 3, 7, 11, 15, ......

n-2,4n-1,5n+2 are in AP
Therfore
4n-1-(n-2)=5n+2-(4n-1)
3n+1=n+3
2n=2
n=1
Therfore required numbers are
n-2=1-2=-1
4n-1=4-1=3
5n+2=5+2=7
Therefore common difference d=4
Therefore next terms are
7+4=11 and
11+4=15
