Solution

Dear Student
Multicellular organisms are more efficient as there is division of labour is present in these organisms. A number of cells participate in carrying out a single activity. The cells of multicellular organisms differentiate to various levels. This increases chances of survival of organisms and specialisation. Whereas in unicellular organisms, a single cell performs all the basic life processes. Single cell cannot undergo differentiation which limits the survival of the organism.
