Given, one side of a square is represented by 18x - 20 and the adjacent side is represented by 42 - 13x.
We know that, all the sides of a square are always equal.
18x20=4213x18x+13x=42+2031x=62x=6231=2 units.
Hence, side of the square is (18×2)20=3620=16 units.
