In the given data set 105 is an outlier.

The mean of the data set without oulier is
(50+55+55+60+62)/5=282/5=56.4

The mean of data set with outlier is
(50+55+55+60+62+105)/6=387/6=64.5

We can see on excluding outliers, the mean value of the dataset decreased.

Inclusion of outlier in a dataset always changes the mean value of the data set.
