Solution

The correct option is B 6
Consider a+2b+3c=0

(a+2b)=3c

a×b+2b×b=3(c×b)

a×b+0=3(b×c)

a×b=3(b×c)...(1)

Again consider a+2b+3c=0

(a+3c)=2b

a×a+3c×a=2(b×a)

0+3(c×a)=2(a×b)

3(c×a)=6(b×c)by(1)

c×a=2(b×c)...(2)

We have a×b+b×c+c×a=λ(b×c)

Substituting (1),(2) we get

3(b×c)+b×c+2(b×c)=λ(b×c)

6(b×c)=λ(b×c)

λ=6
