We have
a.p+b.q+c.r=3
Multiply and Divide RHS by [a,b,c]

a.p+b.q+c.r=3[a b c][a b c]

=a.(b×c)[a b c]+b.(c×a)[a b c]+c.(a×b)[a b c]
On comparing we get,
p=b×c[a b c] q=c×a[a b c] r=a×b[a b c]
