Given
$l = 2 m$ and $b = 75 c m$
The perimeter of the rectangle can be calculated as below :
We know that,
$100 c m = 1 m$
Here, the breadth is in centimetre. Hence, it ca be converted into metre from centimetre as below
Breadth $= 75 c m$
$= 75 / 100 m$
We get,
$= 0.75 m$
Perimeter $= 2 (l e n g t h + b r e a d t h)$
Perimeter $= 2 (2 m + 0.75 m)$
$= 2 \times 2.75 m$
We get,
$= 5.5 m$
hence, the perimeter of the rectangle $= 5.5 m$
