The correct option is B 15:7
Given that Q $<$ P $<$ S. This is possible only when the ages of Q,P $&$ S are 4, 6 ,8 respectively.

From the conditions given initially

T=Q+S

Since
$\Rightarrow R = \frac{2}{5} x | S - T |$

$\Rightarrow R = \frac{2}{5} \times | S - Q - S |$

$\Rightarrow R = \frac{2}{5} \times Q . . . . . . (1)$

$S = \frac{1}{3} [Q + R]$

$S = \frac{1}{3} [Q + \frac{2}{5} Q] = \frac{1}{3} \times [\frac{7}{5} Q] \Rightarrow S = \frac{7}{15} \times Q$

From this the ratio Q:S= 15:7.
