If P is younger than S and elder than Q, find the ratio of number of candies with Q and S?
Given that Q<P<S. This is possible only when the ages of Q,P & S are 4, 6 ,8 respectively.
From the conditions given initially
T=Q+S
Since
⇒R=25x|S−T|
⇒R=25×|S−Q−S|
⇒R=25×Q......(1)
S=13[Q+R]
S=13[Q+25Q]=13×[75Q]⇒S=715×Q
From this the ratio Q:S= 15:7.
