By sum of interior angle. ($\because p\parallel q$)

$y+{55}^o={180}^o$

This gives;

$y={135}^o$

Now, $\angle x$ and ${55}^o$ are alternating angle ($\because p\parallel r)$

$\therefore x={55}^o$

Also, given triangle is a right angled triangle.

$\therefore z+x+{90}^o={180}^o$

$z={180}^o-{90}^o-{55}^o={35}^o$
