Given,
VA=48 V
VB=24 V
VC=0 V

Apllying kirchhoff's current law at the junction, we get relation between I1, I2 and I3 as,
I1=I2+I3 ---------(1)
Also,
From ohm's law, we have
I=VR
So,
I1=48244=6A
I3=24012=2A
Putting the values of I1, I2 and I3 in equation (1), we get
6=I2+2
or,
I2=4 A
Thus, current through resistance R is 4 A.
