Circumference = perimeter 2πr = 4a 2 * 22/7 * r = 4a 22/7 * r = 2a r = (2a * 7)/22 = 7/11 a ------(1) Area of circle / area of square = πr² / a² = (22/7 *( 7 / 11 a)²)/ a² from (1) =14 : 11
Circumference = perimeter
2πr = 4a
2 * 22/7 * r = 4a
22/7 * r = 2a
r = (2a * 7)/22 = 7/11 a ------(1)
Area of circle / area of square
= πr² / a²
= (22/7 *( 7 / 11 a)²)/ a² from (1)
=14 : 11
