Rs 1875
Total capital invested = Rs 5000 + Rs 7500 = Rs 12500

Profit = 25%

$=\frac{25}{100}\times 12500=Rs3125$

The ratio of profits is the same as the ratio of investments

Ratio of investments of Ram and Shyam

$=\frac{5000}{7500}=\frac{2}{3}=2:3$

$\therefore$ Ratio of Ram's profit and Shyam's profit = 2:3
$\therefore$ Let Ram's profit = 2y ,Let Shyam's profit = 3y

Total profit = Rs 3125
$\Rightarrow$ 2y + 3y = 3125
$\Rightarrow$ 5y = 3125
$\Rightarrow$ y = 625

Therefore , Shyam would receive 3y i.e Rs 1875 as profit
