if Rs.160 amounts to Rs.166 in 8 months,find to what it will amount in 1 year at the same rate of interest ?

Amount in one month's=8 monthS/6 =.75 paisa

See, in one month the amount increases with 0.75paisa
and in 8 months it will be .75*8= 6 rupees .

It mean 166 rupees and now we will multiply .75 to 12 months(1 year) .
it is equal to 9 rupees and now the total amount is 169 rupees.
