$Here,P=Rs.2880,T=5years,S.I.=Rs.3168-Rs.2880=288$

Then by applying formula for $S.I.$ we get,

$288=\frac{2880\times 5\times r}{100}$

$=r=2$%

Now, r=5%,P=Rs.900,T=5 years

Therefore S.I.$=\frac{PRT}{100}=\frac{900\times 5\times 5}{100}$

$=Rs.225$

Hence amount ,$=900+225=Rs.1125$
