Heat energy Q=mc∆T where m is mass, c is specific heat capacity, ∆T is change in temperature

Then we can write: ∆T=Qmc

∆T increases with the decrease in specific heat capacity.

Given that C1<C2

Since specific heat capacity of X is less than Y, X will show higher rise in temperature.
