The correct option is B3 sin−1(x5)+cosec−1(54)=π2 ⇒sin−1(x5)+sin−1(45)=π2....(i) As we know, sin−1(45)=x⇒sinx=45⇒1−sin2x=1−1625⇒cos2x=925⇒cosx=35⇒x=cos−135 Substituting in (i) ⇒sin−1(x5)+cos−1(35)=π2 ∵sin−1θ+cos−1θ=π2 ∴x5=35⇒x=3
