Solution

The correct option is B 12
We have;
sin1x+sin1(x3)=π2
sin1[x13x2+x31x2]=sin1(1)
x13x2+x31x2=1
x13x2=1x3.1x2
Squaring on both sides,we get;
x2(13x2)=1+3x2(1x2)+2x3.1x2
x23x4=1+3x23x4+2x3.1x2)
(2x2+1)=2x31x2
Squaring on both sides,we get;
(2x2+1)2=4x2×3(1x2)
4x2+1+4x2=12x212x4
16x48x2+1=0
(4x21)2=0
4x21=0
x2=14x=±12
Hence;
x=12
