This means θ lies in the second quadrant.
Now we know the identity sin 2θ=2sin θcos θ.
Then we will calculate cos θ from the identity sin2θ+cos2θ=1cos θ=±1sin2θ

cos θ=1sin2θcos θ=10.82cos θ=0.6
