Given,
sinθ,cosθ,tanθ are G.P
Then, we've,
cos2θ=sinθ.tanθ
or, cotθ.cosθ=tanθ
or, tan2θ=cosθ......(1) and tan3θ=sinθ.....(2).[ Multiplying both sides of (1) with tanθ]
Now,
tan6θ+tan4θ
=(tan3θ)2+(tan2θ)2
=sin2θ+cos2θ[ Using (1) and (2)]
=1.
