Perimeter of the original square = 4 × 10 = 40 cm

When small squares of side 3 cm are cut off from the corners of the square, it loses two sides of length 3 cm and gains two sides of length 3 cm for each small square.



So, new perimeter = 40 - 3 - 3 + 3 + 3 - 3 - 3 + 3 + 3 - 3 - 3 + 3 + 3 - 3 - 3 + 3 + 3 = 40 cm
=> Change in perimeter = 40 - 40 = 0 cm
