Solution
The value of 'g'(acceleration due to gravity) is greater at the poles than at the equator. This is a fact. This is due to the cancellation of gravity of the Earth and the centrifugal force.
So suppose 1 kg gold at a price of 1 crore is bought at the equator. Now the gold is taken to the poles. Now since 'g' is higher at the poles. The same 5kg gold would weigh more than 5kg.(Weight=m*g) here.Assuming the price to be same, one would get a higher price by selling gold at poles. So one can become richer by selling gold at the poles.
