If tan 2 a = cot (a+6) where 2 a and a+6 are acute angles find the value of a??

Open in App
Solution

Solution-: Tan(2a)=cot(a+6)

we know that cotx= tan(90-x) so we wil change cot into tan by using this rule we get,

tan(2a)=tan(90-(a+6))
So we will remove tan both sides we will get
2a= 90-(a+6)

2a=90-a-6

2a+a=90-6
3a= 84
a=84/3
a= 28 Answer
