x axis is positive and yaxis is negative.
tanθ=Oppositesideadjacentside=110
Hence Oppositeside=1 unit along negative yaxis=1
and adjacentside=10 units along positive xaxis=10
Hence by Pythagoras theorem,(Oppositeside)2+(adjacentside)2=(hypotenuse)2
(1)2+(10)2=(hypotenuse)2
(hypotenuse)2=1+10=11
