given sec(θ)tan(θ)=1km let it be eqn 1

and tan(θ)=m14m

we know sec2(θ)tan2(θ)=1

sec(θ)+tan(θ)=1sec(θ)tan(θ)=km let it be eqn 2

now subtracting 2 from 1 we get 2tan(θ)=km+1km

tan(θ)=km2+12km

comparing with given equation we get
k2=1 so k=2
